The RCVDS 05 is Barco's new infrared remote controlled switcher. It offers the possibility to select a wide range of video, data and graphics sources to one or more projectors or monitors, and to control all significant picture settings through a hand-held infrared remote transmitter.
The RCVDS 05 is designed to meet the most demanding signal switching requirements. Its ultr-wide bandwith of 200 MHz guarantees switching of even the highest resolution graphics signals without any signal loss or image degradation.
Modular Input
Its modular input design makes it possible to easily adapt the switcher to the user's input requirements. The RCVDS 05 can be eqipped with up to 10 input modules. 4 different input modules are available: Video/S-video, Component Video (Y, R-Y, B-Y), RGB analog with standard sync and RGB analog with Tri-level sync. An optional additional expansion moudle makes it possible to set several source switchers in series, which gives the opportunity to connect up to 90 sources simultaneously to one projector.
Flexible design
The flexible design of the RCVDS 05 makes it possible to use it in conjuction with a BARCO projector or as stand-alone system switcher. Furthermore, additional output modules can be added which makes it possible to connect up to 4 displays to one RCVDS 05 simultaneously, thereby reconfiguring the unit as a high bandwidth signal splitter.
