  Barco's RETRODATA 808s projector is a high performance, stand-alone rear screen projection system, capable of displaying video and data images with outstanding light output, rich contrast and exceptional clarity, even under high ambient lighting conditions.

  Outstanding image quality

  The projectors are based on an efficient optical concept. The system incorporates a single front surface-coated mirror, which results in the projection of ultra sharp images with an extremely high light output. High reliability and a consistently superb picture quality due to high-definition, liquid cooled 8" square CRTs with stabilised pressure chambers The integration of F1.1 colour corrected hybrid lenses result in an optical resolution of 10 lp/mm Improved contrast, thanks to the optical coupling between CRTs and lenses. The optical coupling is achieved using a high-quality liquid with a precision matched optical reflection index. A unique Fresnel/lenticular-Blackstripe screen offers not only a very wide horizontal and vertical viewing angle, but also crystal-clear images, even under high ambient light conditions.

  Broad compatibility

  The projector can display all worldwide Video standards (PAL, SECAM, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43) as well as S-VHS (Y/C) signals. The projector is compatible with a wide range of PC graphics boards from 15 to 75 kHz with resolutions up to 1280 by 1024 pixels/70 Hz.
