Inputs: Configurable inputs for RGBHV, S-video, and composite video; stereo balanced/unbalanced audio inputs
Outputs: One RGBHV, one S-video, and one composite video output; one balanced/unbalanced audio output
System 8 Plus: 300 MHz (-3 dB) RGB video bandwidth
Universal projector control via RS-232 — The System 8 Plus provides for various projectors. The System 8 Plus uses a projector-specific communications adapter for connection to the projector being used. Call Extron or check the Extron Web site for a list of current compatible projectors and part numbers.
Triple-Action Switching™ for RGB delay — Blanks the screen when the switcher switches to a new source, eliminating visible switching transitions.
Audio breakaway available through RS-232 only
Balanced/unbalanced audio — Audio may be routed as balanced or unbalanced audio. Attenuation adjustments provided for each input.
VLB Video Loop Back — Route video sources through an optional Extron QSD 204 quad standard decoder or Extron DVS 304 scaler, so only one signal processing device needs to be used for all switcher inputs. This feature enables one set of RGB cables to feed the switcher's output signals to any projector.
RS-232 and contact closure remote control
Backlit front panel buttons — Buttons provided for input switching, display mute, projector power, RGB mute, and audio mute. Display mute mutes the image at the projector, RGB mute mutes the image at the switcher and works for RGB signals only.
Front panel button labels — Backlit pushbuttons can be custom-labeled with text or graphics printed using Extron's Windows®-based software.
Remote control capabilities with optional IR 301 remote and KP 10 keypad remote
Expandability — Either system switcher may loop together up to a total of 17 switchers in a daisy chain or star configuration.
3U, full rack width metal enclosure — Rack-mounting brackets included.
